Intervention proposal for Grover Cleveland Playground in Flushing, NY. Inspired by the dense collection of plane trees at the center of the park that house and shelter the play space. Developed after site visits and researching urban planting in New York. Plane trees are the most common of all NYC street trees, making up 10% of the total plantings. They are favored becuase of their resiliance from polution and root crowding. Poem by Amy Levy.
